I’m a Charlottesville attorney, author, father, and husband. I live in Fifeville with my wife Emily and twin boys Will and Jack in the house I have owned for ten years.
I’m running for City Council because I love Charlottesville and would like to give back to our wonderful city. I would bring experienced, effective leadership to City Council, including work on issues including economic development, public safety, social justice, and quality of life. I hold leadership roles in our neighborhood association, local nonprofits, our bar association, and our Democratic party.
I believe our strength lies in our diversity. I will strive to build bridges between our different communities, and to build One Charlottesville. And I will work to bring responsible, professional leadership to City Council.
I hope I can earn your support. Remember that every voter will have three votes, as three seats on Council are up for election this year. Please give me one of your three votes in the Democratic primary on Tuesday, June 9 at your regular polling place or by absentee ballot.
